Widow of Ellen DeGeneres’ DJ Reveals Shocking Secret Found in His Closet: “A Truly Scary Moment”

Allison Holker was in the midst of preparing for the funeral of her late husband, Stephen “Twitch” Boss, the longtime producer and DJ for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, when she made a shocking discovery. While searching for an outfit for Boss to wear for his burial, she found a collection of various drugs, mushrooms and pills hidden inside a shoebox in his closet, as she shared with People. The professional dancer described the moment as deeply triggering, explaining, “There were so many things I found in our closet that I didn’t know about.” Holker reflected on how this revelation made her realize just how much Boss had been struggling and hiding, with a great deal of shame involved.

In addition, Holker discovered clues in Boss’ journals that suggested he had been dealing with unresolved pain, possibly from childhood trauma, including the possibility of sexual abuse. She emphasized that he didn’t want others to carry the weight of his suffering. Holker also encouraged anyone who may be silently struggling to seek help. Boss, who was a prominent figure on The Ellen Show from 2014 to 2022, tragically passed away at 40, leaving behind Holker and their three children.
