Comedian and Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed is taking on a brand-new challenge in his latest screen appearance – and it’s got fans talking. His new part? A sharp and ambitious politician in Apple TV+’s gripping spy drama. The buzz around Nick Mohammed’s Slow Horses role is growing fast, especially with Season 5 just around the corner.
What Is Nick Mohammed’s Role in Slow Horses?
In the upcoming season, Mohammed plays Zafar Jaffrey – a calm, calculated Muslim MP and close friend of the Prime Minister, now running for mayor of London. Jaffrey first appeared in London Rules, part of Mick Herron’s acclaimed Slough House novels, the basis for the Apple TV+ hit.
During filming earlier this year in North London, real London buses featured Mohammed’s face and the slogan “Moving London Forward” – a not-so-subtle nod to his character’s campaign.
